NBB Tissue Dissemination Officer & Research technician - NIN
Within iCNS, I coordinate the iCNS Tissue Facility, based at the Netherlands Brain Bank, which supports the tissue-related activities underlying the development of the molecular brain atlas. Together with two research technicians, our team prepares, cryosections and disseminates post-mortem human brain tissue to researchers across the consortium. I also manage the tissue application workflow and facilitate review by the iCNS Tissue Advisory Board, of which I am a member, while contributing to research communication within iCNS. My background is in neuroscience, with research experience in mouse models of psychiatric disease.
