As a former employee at the Netherlands Institue for Neuroscience, I was privileged to have worked with human brain tissue provided by the Netherlands Brain Bank. Within the iCNS consortium, I'm currently appointed as a research technician in Work Package 1. The main tasks include cryosectioning post-mortem human tissues from several brain regions for downstream molecular and imaging analyses.

Unravelling mechanisms underlying psychiatric disorders can have significant clinical implications and within the iCNS/NBB framework, I hope to make at least a small contribution to this.
