iCNS School of Chemical Neuroscience
With the iCNS ‘School of Chemical Neuroscience’ iCNS supports the training of a new generation of researchers at the intersection of chemistry and neuroscience. Through training, scientific exchange and practical experience, we aim to build an inspiring research community that nurtures talent at all career stages as well as a new generation which is able to translate chemical and neuroscientific research to clinical applications for psychiatric diseases.
Courses, workshops and training
We bring together relevant training opportunities across partner institutions and beyond, complementing researchers’ local graduate school programs. Dedicated iCNS training activities may be developed where specific needs are not covered by existing opportunities for PhD students.
iCNS Lecture Series
Our online lecture series features speakers from within and outside the consortium. Covering a broad range of interdisciplinary topics, the sessions provide a platform for scientific exchange and discussion.
Clinical internships
Clinical internships offer iCNS researchers opportunities to learn more about the clinical aspects of psychiatry, helping connect their research with clinical practice.
Work visits
Visits to iCNS partner institutions give early-career researchers opportunities to explore other research environments, exchange expertise and strengthen collaborations across the consortium.
