Shivam Kumar

I am a postdoctoral researcher at UMCG in the group led by Inge Holtman, working at the interface of computational pathology, machine learning, and neurodegeneration. Within iCNS, my research focuses on developing AI-based methods to quantify neuropathological features from histology images and extract longitudinal phenotypes from clinical records. I am particularly interested in integrating imaging-derived, clinical, and genetic data to study disease heterogeneity and identify patterns associated with progression and neuropathological burden.
