Successful X-omics Festival 2026

On April 13, the X-omics Festival 2026 took place in Nijmegen, an event co-organized by iCNS with X-omics. The day focused on the brain and the role of multi-omics techniques to increase our understanding of neurobiological processes and brain disorders, and attracted a broad audience. 

During the festival, various experts from the multi-omics and brain science fields shared their knowledge and insights, resulting in many fascinating discussions. iCNS was well represented with Bart Eggen as keynote speaker, as well as WP3 leader Inge Holtman, WP5 postdoc Daan van der Vliet, and WP4 PhD candidate Tijn Vleeshouwer. 

We thank the X-omics community for the opportunity to organize this edition together; the combination of this NWO Large Scale Research Infrastructure and our iCNS Gravitation consortium created a unique setting for a fruitful interaction between science and technology. Thanks to all the speakers, sponsors, partners, and other interested parties who contributed to the success of this event, it was an inspiring day, which can still be viewed via this link.
