Mario van der Stelt appointed ICRS Chair

We are delighted to announce that our co-Principal Investigator, Mario van der Stelt, has been appointed as the Chair of the International Cannabinoid Research Society (ICRS). Founded in 1992, the ICRS is a scientific society with approximately 500 members from over 40 countries who conduct research on the endocannabinoid system and medicinal cannabis. Each year, the society organizes a scientific congress, with the most recent event held last week in Bloomington, Indiana, USA. 

Mario van der Stelt will take on the task of organizing the next international congress, which will take place in Dijon, France, from June 28 to July 3, 2026. This will be the 36th ICRS symposium and promises to be an exciting event, especially considering the significant overlap between iCNS research and endocannabinoid studies.
