Kick-Off Symposium in Amsterdam

During the festive Kick-Off, the vision, objectives, and desired impact of the Institute for Chemical Neurosciences (iCNS) were presented to around 130 guests from across the country. On the stage of the Rode Hoed, the members of the Executive Board and the work package leaders shared their insights and plans for the future. The event was also featured an impressive lineup of international keynote speakers, including Casper Hoogenraad (Genentech Research), Shane Liddelow (NYU Grossman School of Medicine), and Nikos Daslakis (Harvard Brain Science Initiative). The patient perspective was powerfully highlighted in an impactful interview between Dr. Eric Ruhe and expert by experience Peter Oostelbos, who shared his story about the impact of depression on his life.
