iCNS presents new lecture series
25 August 2026
iCNS is pleased to announce the launch of the iCNS Lecture Series, a new initiative within the iCNS School of Chemical Neuroscience.
The series will bring together researchers from across our consortium and the wider scientific community to share recent research, ideas and perspectives in chemical neuroscience and related fields.
The first lecture will take place on Thursday, 3 September 2026, 16:00 - 17:00 CET/CEST. Further lectures will be held every other month, on the first Thursday of the month.
The programme will feature invited speakers from within the iCNS consortium and beyond. Reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of iCNS, lectures will cover a broad range of topics, including neurobiology, chemistry, cell biology, psychiatry and related fields.
Each online session will include a presentation by one or more invited speakers, followed by time for questions and discussion. Lectures will be hosted via Zoom, enabling researchers throughout the consortium to connect, exchange ideas and discuss new developments in the field.
The iCNS Lecture Series is open to all consortium members, as well as colleagues from participating research groups and institutions. Consortium members are encouraged to share individual lecture announcements with interested colleagues.
We hope the series will offer an engaging platform for scientific exchange, interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge sharing within and beyond the iCNS community.
Are you interested in attending a lecture but are you not a part of our consortium? Then you can send an email to our project manager Sabina van der Zanden: s.y.vanderzanden@uva.nl
