iCNS Stage 1 samples transferred for further research

On 6 October, the iCNS Tissue Facility at the Netherlands Brain Bank welcomed Daniël Huitema, PhD student in the Baggelaar Lab at Utrecht University, to collect a substantial batch of iCNS Stage 1 samples.

As part of WP1, the Tissue Facility coordinates the preparation and transfer of samples to researchers across the iCNS consortium. This batch was transferred to WP4 for the next phase of research: developing chemical probes and methods for the molecular human brain atlas and target validation.

With Stage 2 approaching, we encourage researchers to monitor sample notifications and prepare for upcoming collections like Daniël has: with plenty of boxes and an impressive amount of dry ice.
